I had to reach out to tell you we had Rachel reevaluated and she went from the first percentile to no longer qualifying for a reading disability. She loves college and she often says, “Syllables saved my life.”

My son, Adam, has been going to Syllables for most of the past school year twice a week. He went from barely a second grade level to fourth grade… I sing Syllables’ praises to anyone who has children who don’t want/like to read for any reason. They employ great teachers and they make sure you understand what they are doing and also make sure that you understand what you can do to help too.

Our 7 year-old son, Peter, could not read. His first grade classroom work was being extremely modified and he was being sent to EIP (Early Intervention Program) classes every day for 45 minutes. Nothing was working for him at school or at home. This was not only showing in his school work, but his happiness and self-confidence were suffering greatly, too. We had to do something, and that is when we called Syllables. They began working with Peter for one hour a week after school. Syllables taught Peter in 25 hours what the schools, or we as parents, were unable to do in almost 2 years. The methods they used made sense to Peter – it was clicking. The therapists at Syllables have shown such a genuine interest in our son’s reading and education, and his life will be so much better because of the caring work that they have done. Syllables has saved his self-confidence and shown him he is a bright kid who just thinks a little differently. Syllables has given us something priceless – our son’s smile.

Thank you for all of your amazing help with Jake over a one-year period. We cannot believe the change in him and his test scores from then until now. For that, we are truly grateful. I really cannot put into words or thank you all enough for how you have helped my child. You have affected him for the rest of his life.

Madison is finishing up her sophomore year at Reinhardt and she’s working completely independently and making all A’s this semester. She is studying to become a physical therapist and loves it! I am forever grateful for the work that you do. You change lives every day. Never forget that!

Max has become a much better speller. He listens to the syllables and can write the sounds!!!!!! Even big words…I am so ecstatic! His writing is more fluent and sentence structure more complex.
-Tammy, Parent
Syllables more than lived up to what we hoped for and improved his skills but also has improved his self confidence. We are very grateful.
-Mike, Parent
Thanks so much for all of your hard work with Nicholas. Of course, we have seen such a difference in his reading, but more importantly, you all make this work so enjoyable for him…I think that is because of your wonderful staff and your care, concern and sense of fun!

How wonderful it would be if every elementary school teacher could use the Syllables method.

I have shared Kamryn’s results with several friends and their jaws have literally dropped open. It is truly amazing what Kamryn has accomplished in one year. I really have a hard time putting into words my wonderment, astonishment, and just plain gratitude.

I really want to extend my sincerest thanks in taking your time to meet with me, consult with me on the phone, read my daughter’s info etc., etc. After our meeting, I really had more of an understanding about auditory processing and how Sydney thinks and where her weaknesses lie.
-Annie, Parent
Thank you for helping my reading skills improve.
-Love, Lauren, student
I cannot express in words how much I appreciate your help. Your program is genius and your therapists are all wonderful. Your program has certainly impacted my life in so many ways. You gave me the gift of reading and the confidence in my school work, which is priceless.

My son and I were driving in the car after school and he was so excited about his day. He said, “Mom, I’m really having fun at school, and I’m doing great, and I know a lot – I raise my hand a lot. In math, I was the only one that knew an answer on the board!” So now, I’m filled with tears and I asked him, “What do you think has made such a difference?” He quickly answered with one word, “Syllables!”
